1inch’s Swap API powers Rewardy Wallet’s gasless, cross-chain swaps on five networks using RWD fees and EIP-7702, removing native gas token hurdles for DeFi.
Summary
- Rewardy Wallet integrates 1inch’s Swap API so users can swap across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum and Optimism without holding native gas tokens.
- Gas fees are paid in Rewardy’s RWD token via account abstraction and EIP-7702, eliminating network switching and stranded transactions for non-experts.
- 1inch and Rewardy pitch the integration as a step toward billion‑user DeFi, promising seamless UX without sacrificing self-custody or routing quality.
Decentralized exchange aggregator 1inch has partnered with Rewardy Wallet to enable users to swap tokens across multiple blockchains without holding native gas tokens such as Ether, Binance Coin or Polygon’s native token, the companies announced.
The integration incorporates the 1inch Swap API into Rewardy Wallet’s in-app swap interface, allowing users to execute cross-chain swaps while paying transaction fees in Rewardy’s native token, RWD, according to a statement. Rewardy Wallet now supports the 1inch Swap API across five blockchain networks.
The update removes the requirement for network-specific gas tokens, addressing what industry observers have identified as a persistent barrier to decentralized finance adoption. The requirement to hold the correct native token for each chain has historically resulted in stalled or failed transactions and added complexity to cryptocurrency transactions.
Through the integration, Rewardy Wallet gains access to 1inch’s aggregation and routing infrastructure. According to the company, users receive optimized pricing and liquidity across supported chains, executed within Rewardy’s in-app swap environment.
The system enables swapping across Ethereum, BNB Chain and other supported networks without requiring users to manage network settings or gas assets manually.
Rewardy Wallet operates using account abstraction and gasless user experience principles, with the gas-free swap experience enabled by EIP-7702, a technical standard that allows transaction fees to be paid using RWD instead of native network tokens.
“DeFi is still too complicated for most people, and gas tokens are one of the biggest reasons,” said Yoon Jeon, CEO of Rewardy Wallet, in a statement. “By partnering with 1inch and leveraging EIP-7702, we’re removing unnecessary steps and making swaps feel as simple as any modern financial app without compromising on self-custody or execution quality.”
Sergej Kunz, co-founder of 1inch, stated that the integration supports the company’s goal of expanding accessibility. “If DeFi is to reach its first billion users, the experience must be seamless and secure,” Kunz said. “Through the integration of our Swap API, wallets like Rewardy are helping drive a more intuitive and accessible future for users.”
The integration supports swaps across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum and Optimism. The partnership represents a continuation of 1inch’s strategy of embedding its infrastructure into consumer-facing platforms, according to the company.
