FT Mining offers cloud mining without buying hardware

FT Mining presents its cloud mining service as a way for users to participate in cryptocurrency mining without buying equipment or managing technical infrastructure.

    Summary

    • FT Mining markets cryptocurrency mining contracts that do not require customers to operate mining hardware.
    • The platform advertises short contracts with projected returns ranging from 6.6% to above 1,500% overall.
    • FT Mining claims FCA regulation, PwC certification and Lloyd’s insurance without providing supporting documents publicly.
    • Mining income varies with token prices, network difficulty, electricity costs, equipment performance and operating expenses.
    • Prospective customers should independently verify regulation, ownership, custody, withdrawals, fees and contract terms before depositing.

The company says customers can create an account, deposit supported digital assets and activate a mining contract through its platform.

Cloud mining can remove the practical burden of sourcing machines, securing electricity and maintaining hardware. It does not, however, remove investment risk. Returns still depend on mining economics, operating costs and whether the service provider can meet its contractual obligations.

FT Mining says users can start without equipment

The company directs new customers to its registration page and describes a four-step process:

    • Create an account through the platform.
    • Deposit a supported asset, including BTC, ETH, USDT or XRP.
    • Select a listed hash-rate contract.
    • Receive settlements according to the contract’s stated schedule.

These steps describe the company’s stated operating model. They do not establish how deposited assets are used, how mining output is measured or whether displayed earnings can always be withdrawn.

    Advertised contract returns require verification

FT Mining lists several contracts with short terms and unusually high projected payouts. Its starter contract advertises an $8 gain on a $100 payment after two days. A separate $800 contract advertises a $52.50 gain after five days.

The professional contract claims that $5,000 becomes approximately $6,520 after 20 days. The premium contract lists a $36,000 payment and an approximate payout of $582,448 after 35 days, equivalent to a return above 1,500%.

The complete offers appear on FT Mining’s contract page. These figures are company claims, not independently verified forecasts. The draft provides no audited mining output, equipment inventory, electricity costs or financial statements explaining how such returns would be generated.

Regulation, audits and insurance remain company claims

FT Mining says it is headquartered in England, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and compliant with MiFID II. It also says PwC certifies its security annually and that Lloyd’s of London underwrites its digital asset custody.

The company should provide its registered legal name, FCA reference number, relevant PwC member firm and assurance report. Any insurance claim should identify the underwriting syndicate, broker, policyholder, coverage limits, exclusions and policy period. Without those records, these statements should remain attributed claims rather than confirmed facts.

FT Mining also describes multi-signature cold storage, automated transaction monitoring and security products associated with Cloudflare and McAfee. Readers would need technical documentation or independent assessments to evaluate those controls.

    Customer testimonials need independent authentication

The source material includes testimonials attributed to customers identified only as John, Anna and Elena. Their full identities, transaction histories and withdrawal records are not provided, so their experiences cannot be independently authenticated.

FT Mining attributes additional statements to CEO Faye Victoria Thompson and CTO Lucas Yip. Corporate filings or other primary records would be needed to confirm those roles and the quotations.

    What prospective customers should check

Before depositing cryptocurrency, users should verify the operator’s legal identity, regulatory permissions, physical address and ownership. They should also review withdrawal conditions, fees, custody arrangements, cancellation provisions and dispute procedures.

Displayed balances and small initial withdrawals do not prove that a platform can meet larger or continuing obligations. No mining contract should be described as stable, guaranteed or risk-free unless legally enforceable documentation and independently audited evidence support that description.
